كاتدرائيّة مار جرجس - صرباسنة ١٨٦٩ اذ كان المطران يوحنّا الحاج (البطربرك لاحقًا) أسقفًا على بعلبك، وكانت صربا تابعة له، إشترى قطعة أرضٍ من بطريركيّة الروم الملكيّين الكاثوليك. فبنيت الكاتدرائيّة بسعي الخوري بولس الأشقر البجّاني. مع موت البطريرك الحاج سنة ١٨٩٠، ضمّت صربا إلى أبرشيّة دمشق. وسنة ١٩٦٠ فصلت عن دمشق لتصبح منطقة صربا نيابةً بطريركيّةً مركزها هذه الكاتدرائيّة. يتميّز بناء الكاتدرائيّة بتصميمٍ بازيليكيّ بسوقٍ واحدة وثلاث مذابح. اللوحات التي تعلو المذابح من عمل الرسّام داوود القرم وتعود للأوائل القرن العشرين.St George’s cathedral - SarbaIn 1869 Mgr.John el Hajj (later patriarch) archbishop of Baalbeck, since Sarba was a dependency of Baalbeck back then, bought a parcel of land from the Melkite Catholic patriarchate to build a church. The construction of the new church began with Fr Boulos al Achkar el Bejjany. When Patriarch el Hajj passed away, Sarba was transferred juridically from the see of Baalbeck to the see of Damascus. In 1860 Sarba was proclaimed an independent ecclesiastical province, a patriarchal vicariate with the cathedral at it’s center. The structure is a single nave with three apses, and three altars. The church holds three early XXth century paintings by Daoud el Qorm.

كنيسة سيّدة الإنتقال القديمة - بقاع كفرا

الكنيسة القديمة يعود تأسيسها إلى نحو سبعمئة عام، تتميّز بالصليب المثلث الأطراف الموجود على عتبة بابها الرئيسيّ، وأيقونة السيّدة التي تعود للقرن السادس عشر، وجرن العماد القديم حيث قبل مار شربل سرّه الأوّل. لم يتوقف اهل هذه البلدة يومًا عن صلاة الفرض الإلهيّ حتى خلال فصل الشتاء القارس، اذ بنوا دهليزًا تحت الارض يصل البيوت بالكنيسة، ولكنّ معظمه قد سقط.
سنة ١٩٢٥ دُعِّم العقد القديم ليتحمّل الكنيسة الجديدة فوقه.

The old church of Our Lady of Assumption - Bekaa Kafra

The old church was built in the XIVth century, it holds a medieval three branched cross on her tympanum. The church also holds the baptismal font of St Charbel, a XVIth century icon of the Madona and ruined catacombs that the local used to get to church during harsh winters to pray the office.
In 1925 the new church was built on top of the old one. To accommodate this renewal the old vault was reinforced changing the medieval allure of the old church.

محبسة مار سمعان العاموديّ - بقرقاشا

هذه المحبسة المبنيّة في حرف شيرٍ صخريّ، تعود للقرون الوسطى. بحسب البطريرك الدويهيّ بنتها سنة ١١١٢ تقلا إبنة الخوري باسيل البشرّاني على إسم مار جرجس ومار ضوميط، وما برحت وتحوّلت على اسم مار سمعان العاموديّ. يشهد على ذلك كتاب الريش قُريان السريانيّ الخاص بالمحبسة، الذي يعود لسنة ١٢٤٢، وهو محفوظ في جامعة السلامانكا.

St Simon the stylite hermitage - Bqorqasha

The hermitage is built on the slope of a rocky cliff in the holy valley of Qannoubin. It dates back according to patriarch Stephen Al Douwaihy to year 1112 when Thekle the daughter of a priest named Basil of Bsharre built a hermitage dedicated to Sts George and Doumith, that was rededicated to St Simon the stylite. A Syriac lectionary proper to the hermitage, the Rish Qoryan, dating back to 1242, that was discovered and conserved in Salamanca’s university, attests this story.

دير مار حوشب - لحفد

دير مار حوشب يقع شرقيّ البلدة. وهو عِبارة عن كَهف في الشير المُسمَّى شير العاميّة. بُنيَ الدير في القَرن الثاني عشر، إذ اختار البطريرك يوحنا اللِحفِدي أحد أساقفته الأربعة للإقامة فيه. وللدّير ثلاث صوامع متعلقة به وهي اليوم آثار.

The monastery of St Eusabius of Caesarea - Lehfed

The monastery is located in the eastern side of the village, like the old monasteries of the Qadisha valley. It is a cave inside a cliff called El Aamlyeh. The monastery dates back to the XIIth century, when Patriarch John of Lehfed appointed one of his four bishops as it’s head.
